It is in the south of the department that the vineyard of Coteaux Vitryats is located. It covers an area of 480 hectares of vines and covers a total of 15 municipalities. Despite a diversity of Champagne soils, Coteaux Vitryats are mainly based on chalky soil which allows a unique grape variety made of Chardonnay.
