The Mâconnais, what to do?
The wine territory of Mâconnais is located on the border of Beaujolais. The Mâconnais is a viticultural area especially recognized for its prestigious white wines made 80% from Chardonnay. There are also some red wines from the Gamay and Pinot Noir grapes, but they are still in the minority. It is thanks to the Mâconnais terroir that the wines are rich and tasty. There are five prestigious appellations such as Pouilly-Fuissé or Pouilly-Louché. Thanks to a rich selection of visits but also tastings and wine tourism activities that Winalist offers you can discover these exceptional wines.
